The W.V. Roundtable Robert R. Simpson, Jr. Leadership Scholarship
Purpose: The Robert R Simpson, Jr. Scholarship was established in April 2009 to provide one annual scholarship for a deserving West Virginia resident who has graduated with a minor in Leadership Studies and has been accepted to a West Virginia University graduate or professional program.
Award: The award will be a scholarship of a to-be-determined amount.
- Must be a enrolled in graduate or professional program at West Virginia University.
- Must have completed the Leadership Studies Minor.
- Must be a West Virginia resident.
- Must be in good academic standing as defined by WVU and demonstrate a desire to develop leadership skills that have the potential to benefit the future for the State of West Virginia.
- Consideration will also be given to the student’s leadership activities on and off campus.
- Selection is based on Faculty recommendations.
- Selection of the recipient will be made by the Leadership Studies program in consultation with the Dean of the Eberly College of Arts and Sciences.
- The Milan Puskar Leadership Scholars Selection Committee will serve as the selection committee for this scholarship.
