Leading for
change.

Our leadership program educates and prepares students using an interdisciplinary approach to study and practice leadership and followership theory. Our vision is to contribute to a pluralistic society by preparing engaged citizens who understand the ethical implications of leadership and, in collaboration with others, create positive change.

Academics

The Leadership Studies curriculum exposes students to leadership theory, models of followership and team development. In addition, students learn about the ethical challenges of leading and following while examining the contextual aspects of leadership. We invite you to share your insights and explore the complexities of leadership in a highly conversational and dynamic setting.

Leadership and Climate Change

Leadership Studies 445, Environmental Leadership, looks at the intersection of people, planet and place by taking a holistic approach to leadership education with a focus on sustainability and the environment.
